At Domotex in Hannover (January 2013) Tretford, RAL COLOURS and Rubia Natural Colours received the prestigious ‘Innovation Award Architecture and Floor’ from AIT. This leading European architecture magazine rewarded the three companies for their efforts to develop a sustainable high quality carpet based on natural fibres and natural colours!

The award encourages us greatly. We appreciate the honor and will continuously work together with our partners towards a sustainable and colourful future!

Greatly increasing interest for natural colouring agents

The Domotex exhibition in Germany and Surfaces exhibition in Las Vegas caused a huge international interest for Rubia Natural Colours. Naturally dyeing fabrics goes with sustainably producing end products. Spinning mills, weaving mills, yarn producers, wholesalers and representatives of international brands indicated that they would like to cooperate with Rubia Natural Colours.

Anker uses colours of Rubia Natural Colours

Recently the German producer Anker-Teppichboden took another step towards protection of the environment and responsible use of natural resources. Anker-Teppichboden is going to cooperate with Rubia Natural Colours. As from 2012 various products from Anker have been coloured with 100% biological and vegetable colouring agents. 
In a joint project between Rubia and Anker at the end of 2012, five high-quality carpets from the Anker portfolio were prepared for production. These products are made from 100% wool, combinations of wool and polyamide and with 100% polyamide.
